EK at the Mill
EK at the Mill is a brand new wedding venue in the heart of Skipton, North Yorkshire. Situated in amongst the beautiful ancient woodlands of Skipton Woods and just behind Skipton Castle EK at the Mill forms part of High Corn Mill, the oldest working water mill in Yorkshire. The waterwheel forms the centrepiece of the mill’s Waterwheel House where there is a specially created viewing areas to enable visitors to see some of the original machinery used to process the corn, and a second waterwheel which visitors can turn by pulling a lever that releases water from the mill’s pond.
EK at the Mill is a mix of heritage charm with contemporary modern styling. Featuring beautiful Yorkshire stone walls and two walls full of window space bringing in loads of natural light, the top floor of the Mill is a stunningly unique place in which to hold your special day. The beautiful main room can hold space for civil ceremonies, wedding receptions and wedding breakfasts.
Skipton is a stunning market town known for being the ‘Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’ and attracts tourists from all around the world to it’s Yorkshire charm. The Leeds & Liverpool Canal which runs through the town and offers 127 miles of walking, boating, wildlife-watching and all-round relaxation. The 200 year-old canal continues to be a well-loved link between the bustling cities of Liverpool and Leeds. At the top of Skipton High Street stands the impressive Gatehouse of Skipton Castle. Over 900 years old, it is one of the most complete and best-preserved medieval castles in England.

The Mill has an impressive stature behind Skipton Castle and has stunning views accross Skipton Woods. Often the herons along the river fly by and bird wildlife live amongst the trees. The Mill is licensed for civil ceremonies and is the ideal choice for smaller intimate weddings under 70 people.
